EXECUTIVE TEAM

Jenee Rawlings

President and CEO

Jenee has worked for Yolo FCU since 1989, starting as a teller and working her way through nearly every department at the credit union. She graduated from Western CUNA Management School in 1996. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a focus in Organizational Psychology and received her Master’s in Business Administration from Arizona State University. In 2022, Jenee was recognized by the Sacramento Business Journal as a Most Admired CEO honoree. She has been involved with many volunteer activities, including service to the Board of Directors at St. John's Retirement Village, Woodland Sunrise Rotary Club, Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce, West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce, and is a Past President of the Woodland Healthcare Auxiliary. She helped establish and is a current leader of the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the Global Women’s Leadership Network, a World Council of Credit Unions program. Jenee is very proud to lead a strong team of purpose-driven professionals at Yolo FCU.

Matt Lane

Chief Financial Officer

Matt has worked for Yolo FCU since 2009 and graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and earned his Master's in Business Administration from Cal State Monterey Bay. Matt oversees the Accounting and Digital Payments Departments. He is a Certified Credit Union Investments Professional (CCUIP) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Matt was recognized as an honoree for CFO of the Year in 2018 by the Sacramento Business Journal and is a member of the Global Advisory Board for the CFO Alliance. Prior to joining Yolo FCU, Matt held accounting roles in various industries, including retail, education, and insurance. As former president of Yolo Arts, a non-profit increasing awareness of the arts, Matt proves he's not just a numbers guy.

Kelley Jacobsen

Chief Operating Officer

Kelley Jacobsen has worked for Yolo FCU since 2012 and graduated from William Jessup University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership. She is also a Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) through the American Bankers Association. Kelley is a lifelong Yolo County resident and has spent her professional career in Marketing. In addition to Marketing, she also oversees Operations. Kelley is involved in many volunteer activities throughout Yolo County and is a board member for All Leaders Must Serve (ALMS) and the Woodland Chamber of Commerce. Kelley believes in the credit union motto of “people helping people” and is proud to be a part of the industry.

Matthew Isika

Chief Lending Officer

Matt has worked for Yolo FCU since 2006 and graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He has been in the credit union industry since 1999 and has served as volunteer for several nonprofit organizations, including the Yolo County Neighborhood Court. Matt is the Vice President of the California Credit Union Collectors Council. He has conducted workshops in the areas of credit counseling and homebuyer education seminars. In addition to overseeing the Collections Department, Matt is responsible for all areas of lending including consumer, real estate, and commercial business lending.

David Plaut

Chief Information Officer

David has worked for Yolo Federal since 2020 and holds multiple technology certifications. He has more than 17 years of experience in system management, building technology infrastructures, disaster recovery, and operating hardware/software. David has a passion for using technology to improve efficiency and helping organizations grow.

Marcela Bautista

Vice President—Human Resources & Organizational Developemnt

Marcela has worked for Yolo FCU since 2016. She graduated from California State University, Sacramento, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Strategic Management. She is also certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Marcela has over 20 years of banking experience, including operations, sales, commercial lending, community involvement, and management. Previously, she served as an ambassador for the Woodland Chamber of Commerce and was a board member for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Woodland Community College Foundation. As a lifelong Yolo County resident, she is proud to serve her community. 

Jewel Trottier

Vice President—Risk Management

Jewel Trottier began her career at Yolo FCU in 2001 and has worked in several roles throughout the credit union during her tenure. She has over 32 years of credit union experience, with 22 years in Risk Management. She has obtained certifications from Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert (CUERME) and Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE). Jewel serves on the California Financial Crimes Investigators Association (CFCIA) board and previously served on the board for Woodland United Way and Yolo Food Bank.

VOLUNTEER BOARD OF DIRECTORS

William C. Schemel

Chairman

William has been on the Board of Directors since 1980 and has served as Chairman of the Board for much of that time. The credit union has grown during William’s service from one small branch in Woodland offering share accounts to a full service financial institution with multiple branches throughout the county. William has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from UC Davis and a Juris Doctor from University of the Pacific. He worked as a prosecutor for over 30 years.

David J. Thompson

Vice Chairman

David is an active proponent of providing housing opportunities for everyone and expanding the credit unions offerings to first time home buyers. David has lived in Davis for more than 25 years and is a former board member of the Davis Food Co-op, former regional Director of the National Cooperative Bank and President of the Twin Pines Cooperative Foundation. David is a well-known Cooperative expert recognized throughout the Country and Europe.

Robyn Rominger

Secretary

Robyn has served on the board since March 2005. She previously served on the Loan Committee of the Mid Delta Credit Union in Indianola, Miss. Robin is a long-time Yolo County resident, having grown up in Davis and living for a time in Woodland. She has resided in Winters since 2001. Robyn has a Bachelor of Arts degree in government-journalism from Cal State Sacramento. She also is a 2001 graduate of the USA Rice Leadership Development Program. Robyn has been a professional journalist for 20 years, specializing in agricultural journalism.

Robin D. Shofner

Treasurer

Robin D. Shofner is a civil litigator and partner with Scale, LLP. Robin graduated from UC Davis with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. She earned her Juris Doctorate from UCLA School of Law. During her time at UCLA, Robin co-founded the UCLA Chapter of the National Women Law Students' Organization and spent a semester as a judicial extern for the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson in the Central District of California.

Bruce Muramoto

Director

Bruce Muramoto is retired from law enforcement after 37 years of service. He served 13 years with Davis Police Department, 17 years with West Sacramento Police Department, and 7 years as Chief of Police in Winters. He currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for Sacramento Hiroshima Nikkeijin Kai. “Nikkei West” is Northern California’s oldest and longest running Japanese American newspaper in production. Bruce has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from UC Davis and a Master’s Degree in Management from CSU Pomona.

Alison Flory

Director

Alison Flory is the Executive Director of YoloArts and has worked for YoloArts for the past 10 years. She is a graduate of UC Davis.

Xochitl Rodriguez Murillo

Director

Xochitl Rodriguez Murillo earned her B.A. at UC Davis and a master’s degree in Spanish from Sac State. She is the Deputy Secretary of Minority Veterans Affairs and is a Sergeant in the Army Reserves.

SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE

Shelley Sammut

Chairperson

Shelley retired after over 27 years of service with Yolo County where she managed the Payroll Division in the Human Resources Department. She also worked in the areas of employee benefits, budgeting, and IT systems administration. Shelley enjoyed being involved in Woodland youth music and sports programs while her son attended school. She currently trains for triathlon and running events with her husband, Dave, and enjoys adventures with her adult children and first grandchild!

Eric Dowdy

Eric Dowdy is the Vice President, Public Policy (CA & NV) for the Alzheimer’s Association. In this role, he leads and supports Nevada and the five California chapters in their year-round advocacy program on behalf of individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and related dementias. Before the Alzheimer’s Association, he worked for LeadingAge California as their Chief Government Affairs Officer. Eric is the current Board Chair of the California Collaborative for Long-Term Services and Supports. He also serves on the Boards of a nonprofit retirement community in Woodland, CA, and a start-up nonprofit that develops employment opportunities for disabled adults. Eric is a founding member of the University of California, Sacramento Center’s capitol scholar program, where he interned in the California State Senate. He holds a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of California, Davis, and a Master's in Public Policy & Administration from the California State University, Sacramento.

Alfonso Voychez

Alfonso has worked for AAA NCNU for 16 years, currently out of the Citrus Heights branch and previously from the Woodland branch. He is a founder and co-chair of AAA’s PRIDE employee resource group. He has been involved with supporting several volunteer organizations, including serving: as President of the West Sacramento Historical Society, on the executive board of the Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce, as Ambassador for the Woodland Chamber of Commerce, and as a West Sacramento City Commissioner for the Arts, Culture & Historic Preservation Commission.
